Yesterday was a first for a few things so I wanted to share that with all of you. Ethan had his first sponge bath yesterday. I must say that he didn't show much enjoyment during his bath, but he was very content afterwards as soon as we wrapped him back up in his little hooded towel! He was very alert after his bath and did a very good job feeding. He had his first trip to the store as well and slept the whole time! Also, Ethan took his first official nap in his crib yesterday too! I have figured out with this little guy that the only way he will sleep in his crib, bassinet or his pack and play is if he is already asleep in your arms. He's pretty quick to sense when he is laid down by himself. So, we've been trying to get him to fall asleep in our arms before putting him down for a nap as well as making sure he's snug in his blanket. So, here are a few pictures of those experiences from yesterday........

Ethan has his first appointment today with his pediatrician. So, it will be interesting to see what his weight is today. He's taking a nap at the moment. He was pretty fussy throughout the evening and the morning. He was having those moments in which it doesn't seem like he is consolable and had a hard time feeding as well. So, we'll hope that he's more alert and cooperative today!
